No makeup looks are the sublime solution for raw-looking lush skin, glowing eyes, and pink cheeks.
As summers are just around the corner, I figured it'd be the perfect time to tell you guys how I do my no make-up look. This makeup look is perfect for the sticky summer afternoon out with your friends or even for a simple day at work. The best thing about this makeup routine is its versatility. So girls put down your eyeliners and read on.
1. MOISTURIZE! MOISTURIZE! MOISTURIZE!
Okay, the first and the most obvious thing I feel, fash your face and moisturize! , our skin needs to be super hydrated to look flawless and dewy. ( I would personally recommend Lakmé Absolute skin gloss Gel Creme or the Estée Lauder Daywear Matte Oil-control Anti-oxidant Moisture Gel Creme) .
(R's Tip: Hydration is super important for your skin after you wash your face apply a thin layer of aloe vera gel and then apply your moisturizer, this will make your skin look extremely fresh and supple).
2. BB CREAM (FORGET THE FOUNDATION!)
Some people prefer to use CC cream instead, it's totally up to you guys, use whatever suits your skin better. I personally use the Maybelline NewYork ClearGlow All in one BB cream, shade 01 nude, SPF21.
(R's Tip: Always, always, always blend upwards.)
A little bit of concealer never hurt anyone, you need to conceal smartly. Spot-conceal any redness or spots for even complexion.
This is my favorite step, contouring defines your jawlines, your high cheekbones, it basically adds dimensions to your face which is perfect for anything- be it work, shopping, anything! I would recommend you guys to use the Maybelline V-face Duostick, its super easy to apply and is not very expensive.
(R's Tip: Instead of using water, to dampen your blender, us gel creme or aloe vera gel to blend your makeup)
5. SWITCH TO A NUDE EYESHADOW
Apply a layer of nude eyeshadow on your upper eyelid and some white eyeshadow just below your brows, to give your eyes a little more definition and make them really pop.
6. THICK BROWS AND LAYERS OF MASCARA
Okay so to really pull off this no-makeup look, make sure your brows are properly defined. Use a brown eyeshadow or a brown colored eye pencil to fill in your brows, make sure they are properly groomed as well. Apply two to three coats of mascara, to make your eyes really stand out.
(R's Tip: Apply a single coat of vaseline using your mascara brush on your lashes before applying the mascara, this will help your mascara last longer)
7. BLUSHHH!! AND A LITTLE SPARKLE
To nail this look, use your brush or your finger whatever you guys are comfortable with and apply blush just sweep it along your cheekbones. Don't skip the highlighter guys! Apply a little highlighter to make your skin look more attractive and brighter.
So, guys, this is how I do my No-makeup, make-up.
I hope you guys enjoyed this blog, stay tuned for more such posts.
Lots of Love,
